Ankh

 The Ankh - symbol of life

The symbolic representation of both Physical and Eternal life.The ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol of life.A symbolic representation of both Physical and Eternal life. Also known as an Ansata cross.The Ankh of the God Anubis is related to the protection of the dead, that of Sekmet, War, Hapi related to the living waters of the Nile and Amen, the spirit God, the breath of life.The horizontal and vertical bars of the lower tau cross represent the feminine and masculine energy, respectively. This combination of male and female symbols (the cross and circle) in the ankh suggest fertility and creative power. The top loop also symbolises the sun on the horizon, and suggests reincarnation and rebirth.The ankh appears often in Egyptian tomb paintings ; it appears at the fingertips of a god or goddess in images that represent the deities of the afterlife conferring the gift of life on the dead person's mummy. The ankh symbol was often carried by Egyptians as an amulet, either alone, or together with two other hieroglyphs that mean "strength" and "health." Mirrors were often made in the shape of an ankh. Sometimes the Ankh was shown being touched by a god onto a person, which usually symbolized conception. The ankh appears frequently in Egyptian writings about rebirth, and this symbolism was adopted by Christians.

Michelle Belanger mentions the Sanguine Ankh in Her Book Vampire Ritual Book;
Sanguine Ankh Consecration"Most vampire houses have a specific ankh that symbolizes the House and its ideals. For many vampires, whether they belong to a House or not, their ankh represents their dedication to pursuing their identity as a vampire, with all that this entails.

When a new ankh is obtained, it should be consecrated before putting it on, so you reflect upon all that it means to you. If you have an altar, keep the ankh on the altar overnight. Then, after night has fallen the next day, take up the ankh and say these words;
This is the symbol of life.It is the symbol of my ancient heritage,A heritage I now proudly proclaim:

"Life sustains me and makes me strong.Every breath and every sweet drop of bloodIs a celebration of what I am.
Let this ankh be my constant reminder
As I wear it each night above my heart
Of the life that is so very precious
And the darkness that encircles my soul."

Kiss the ankh and place it over your heart. As an alternate Sanguine rite, you can draw a drop of blood from your finger and consecrate the ankh with this blood before saying the prayer. It’s a good idea to reconsecrate your ankh on a yearly basis, to remind yourself of what it means to wear this symbol."

This Vampire Ritual Book is an excellent piece of work tht really shows the actuality and reality in todays Vampire Temples/ And Covens / Clans / Orders.
The Sharp end of the Sanguine Ankh is used for drawing blood when feeding.Yes We know its appearently a trend to NOT feed and being adviced not to feed.But Real Vampyres need to feed.They crave it and need it and some cant survieve without.We see it more as How to Feed rather than should We feed or Not.Always get a permission from the one you feed from ,even if you psifeed.

A permission from a child,an underaged person
or an insane or ill person is NEVER A PERMISSION!!!!

We are working on articles about Safe Feeding.

Untill then plz refer to the articles

 ex. Sanguinarius org or Drinkdeeplyanddreamd.com

has published.

They did excellent articles and supportpages.

And By all means Google Vampire Feeding

And read as much as You can on The Subject Before You Feed!!!

Be Safe.
